
Derk Stikker - Chairman of the Board
Derk started his career as a banking consultant in the USA. After moving back to Europe, he became active within the oil and gas sector and was subsequently employed in the financial services sector as CFO for a financial institution. After a sabbatical period, he joined the BXR group as CFO with responsibility for the Group's real estate division and subsequently became the COO of BXR Group. Derk has an MBA from George Washington University in Washington DC, USA.
Joost Knoll - Chief Executive Officer and Director
Joost joined Greengas on 1 December 2011. He brings more than 25 years of experience to the company, in both increasing and managing international business in the industrial construction, waste, and energy market.
Over the past decade, Joost successfully lead the Hertel Group as Chief Executive Officer, during which time the company achieved strong international growth. Prior to this, Joost held various senior leadership positions at Browning Ferris Industries, Waste Management and AVR the Netherlands. During this time he developed a broad international experience in waste management and industrial & offshore services and construction.
Joost Knoll (51) has a BSc from Rotterdam University and followed an MBA at Henley Business School - University of Reading. Joost resides in the Netherlands.
Claudia Mennen-Vermeule - Chief Financial Officer and Director
Claudia has extensive (corporate) financial experience from previous positions as Vice President Finance and acting CFO with the Dockwise Group.
At Dockwise Claudia was part of the project team for the sale of the group to 3i, a private investment equity firm, responsible for re-financing, several acquisitions and the initial public offering (IPO) at the Oslo Stock Exchange in 2007. In addition, she was acting CFO during the process of capital raising and listing at NYSE Euronext stock market in 2009. Prior to joining the Dockwise Group, Claudia was part of the audit practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers for nearly 10 years and was mainly involved in the audit of international Dutch headquartered groups.
Claudia holds a master degree in Information Technology from the University of Tilburg and is a Dutch Certified Public Accountant. She is a Dutch citizen and resides in the Netherlands.
Martin Vojta - Chairman Finance, Audit and Risk Management Committee
Martin is a partner for corporate finance in BXR Group. Before joining BXR Group in 2006, Martin has been active in M&A and project finance in power generation sector in Central and Eastern Europe, lately heading M&A efforts in CEE for a major sector player.
Peter Williamson - Director
Peter is Professor of International Management at the Judge Business School, Univeristy of Cambridge and a Fellow of Jesus College Cambridge. Previously he was Professor of International Strategy and Asian Business at the INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France and Singapore. In addition, Peter was Dean of MBA Programmes at the London Business School and Visiting Professor of Global Strategy and Management at Harvard Business School. He began his career with Merrill Lynch in London, Singapore and New York and later was a consultant with The Boston Consulting Group.
Peter has consulted widely on business strategy, international expansion, mergers and acquisitions and alliances to numerous companies throughout the Asia-Pacific region, Europe and North America. Peter is Chairman of the global hedge-fund manager, Tactical Global Management and Chairman of Imparta Ltd. He is also a Director of Energy Edge Limited and the Chinese software company, Geong International Limited, which recently listed its shares in London following an IPO. Peter has a first degree in economics and a PhD in business economics from Harvard University, USA.
Tonio Ebeling - Director
After having worked for Arthur Andersen, General Electric and Deloitte in a variety of financial positions, Tonio joined BXR Group in the summer of 2011 as head of finance. With his in-depth knowledge of finance and auditing he holds a key position in the development of the group.
Tonio holds a master degree in Business Economics from the University of Tilburg and is a Dutch Certified Public Accountant. He is a Dutch citizen and resides in the Netherlands.
Allard van der Veen - Director
Allard joined ATC Group in June 2005 and heads the firms Amsterdam office, which employs 150 staff. His responsibilities range from HR, client due dilligence and the setting up of holding and finance structures, to the review of and drawing up of Dutch corporate legal documents. He was previously a lawyer (candidate civil law notary) in the Mergers & Acquisitions department of the Dutch law firm De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek. Allard has a law degree from the University of Leiden, the Netherlands.
Dirk Stolp - Director
Dirk is Managing Director of ATC Capital Markets, a subsidiary of ATC Group, which acts as trustee, custodian, paying agent and fund administrator for national and international clients. ATC Capital Markets acts as SPV director and/or trustee in a wide range of transactions and has some EUR 500 billion of assets under administration. From 1989 to 1996 he headed the legal department of a Dutch-based corporate services provider. Prior to that, he graduated in Modern History from the University of Amsterdam. Dirk acts as a Non-executive Director for several listed and non-listed companies.
Chris Norval - Director
Chris led the financing and founding activities of Green Gas in 2005. Prior to Green Gas, Chris was CEO and President of SUAL International Group.
Chris spent a significant part of his career at what is today known as BHP Billiton. As head of Corporate Finance, he oversaw most of the transactions to create BHP Billiton, including the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Billiton Plc in 1997. Chris is a Chartered Accountant and graduated with a BCom from Rand Afrikaans University in South Africa.
