
Chris Norval - Chairman & CEO
Chris led the financing and founding activities of Green Gas in 2005. Prior to Green Gas, Chris was CEO and President of SUAL International Group.
Chris spent a significant part of his career at what is today known as BHP Billiton. As head of Corporate Finance, he oversaw most of the transactions to create BHP Billiton, including the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Billiton Plc in 1997. Chris is a Chartered Accountant and graduated with a BCom from Rand Afrikaans University in South Africa.
Patrick Krähenbühl - Chief Financial Officer
Patrick joined Green Gas International in August 2008. He is responsible for the Group's financial, tax and accounting affairs, with particular emphasis on optimising the funding to support Green Gas' rapid growth.
Prior to joining Green Gas, Patrick was Group CFO of Suzlon Energy, a EUR 3 billion wind turbine manufacturer. Patrick has held various senior financial management positions with multinational organisations. He spent the major part of his career with ABB Ltd, where his roles included Group Treasurer and later CFO of its Power Technologies division in North America. Earlier in his career, Patrick was a solid fuels trader with Marc Rich & Co. Patrick holds a Masters degree (lic. oec. publ.) in Economics and Computer Science from the University of Zürich, Switzerland.
Peter Williamson - Non-executive Director
Peter is Professor of International Management at the Judge Business School, Univeristy of Cambridge and a Fellow of Jesus College Cambridge. Previously he was Professor of International Strategy and Asian Business at the INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France and Singapore. In addition, Peter was Dean of MBA Programmes at the London Business School and Visiting Professor of Global Strategy and Management at Harvard Business School. He began his career with Merrill Lynch in London, Singapore and New York and later was a consultant with The Boston Consulting Group.
Peter has consulted widely on business strategy, international expansion, mergers and acquisitions and alliances to numerous companies throughout the Asia-Pacific region, Europe and North America. Peter is Chairman of the global hedge-fund manager, Tactical Global Management and Chairman of Imparta Ltd. He is also a Director of Energy Edge Limited and the Chinese software company, Geong International Limited, which recently listed its shares in London following an IPO. Peter has a first degree in economics and a PhD in business economics from Harvard University, USA.
