Green Gas wins Cleantech Connect 2009 Award

Green Gas International has won the Cleantech Connect 2009 awards for Best Management and Best Execution. The Cleantech Connect 2009 Awards, organised by investment bank GP Bullhound with premium sponsor, Schroders Private Banking, are presented to Europe’s top cleantech companies with exceptional growth potential, as ranked by their annual revenue growth. Established in 2005, Green Gas’ revenue grew from a standing start to an expected EUR 60 million for 2009, rapidly expanding its portfolio around the globe. Green Gas currently operates around 50 sites in nine countries, converting methane emissions from coal mines and landfill sites into clean energy and carbon credits. On an annual basis Green Gas eliminates greenhouse gases of 3,000,000 tons of CO2 equivalent. Chris Norval, the CEO of Green Gas commented: “We are proud to accept these awards.
